I directed these three films with the team at FuturePowerStation as part of a series for SKII. Each one was based in a different East Asian country. We were supplied flattened artwork by the incredible illustrator Yuko Shimizu which the team then painstakingly recreated in layers, using 3D and 2D techniques to animate the characters interacting with the world around them. The goal was to create a perfect loop which travels into the packaging, exploring the animated world inside it and then back to the start.
